New one day intensive Introduction to consulting essentials course

Many people are put into a consultancy role although they may not be career management consultants. This course provides a rapid and intensive introduction for those who want an appreciation of the key skills needed and some of the fundamental tools and techniques that are the ingredients of success.
This course is for newcomers to a job in consultancy; for internal consultants; for internal service providers, such as IT and HR who as business partners need to operate as consultants, and for technical specialists, such as engineers, who are working in a client environment.

The value of training depends crucially on the translation of learning from the classroom to performance back at work. This is particularly challenging in the area of skills development - the focus of Elevation Learning's work.
Over the years we have sponsored a number of research projects into this and now bring them together in an approach we call SmartPractice. The aim of this is to allow organisations to identify what they need to do to improve the transfer of learning among their own trainees.
