Continuing professional development
Continuing professional development (CPD) is a requirement of most professions in order to keep up to date with the latest approaches and bring relevant skills to projects.
Consultants are fortunate in that they work on a variety of projects and come into contact with different issues, teams and processes throughout their working life, which means they naturally respond well to different environments and challenges.
In order to contribute to your CPD, Elevation Learning runs a series of intensive consultancy skills courses in a single week, twice a year, thereby cutting down on travel time should you wish to attend more than one. These are high quality formal courses that are interesting and stimulating, allowing you to learn about new ideas or approaches in order to remain on top of your game.
All the courses in the programme are endorsed by the Institute of Consulting - the professional body for management consultants and business advisers, so members can accrue CPD credits through attending our programme.
We focus on practical consultancy skills that you can apply immediately to your work, take you to the next level or address a particular skills gap. Our CPD courses are run by experienced senior consultants who fully understand the challenges involved. By the end of each of our CPD courses participants will:
- Understand the ingredients of success and the key activities and processes involved
- Have learned a range of tools and techniques that will help you perform well
- Have increased confidence
- Have a clear way forward for developing your performance back at work
- Have had the opportunity to network and share ideas with peers
