Over two days this consultancy skills course covers the tools and techniques needed to get a clear insight into organisation business context and process.
Course description
Managers in every organisation, and consultants in particular, use formal tools and techniques for supporting problem analysis and decision making. But if applied without thought, these can simply degenerate into fads.
Our Analytical Tools and Techniques course introduces a kit bag of useful tools for consultants, managers, and others involved in business problem solving. It critically examines their use and observes how they contribute to the continuous improvement sought by organisations. Specifically it:
- Provides a coherent framework within which to consider tools in general
- Offers participants an opportunity to evaluate the usefulness of a range of tools
- Considers just when to use the tools and the attendant considerations and risks
Like our other consulting training courses, it consists of a mixture of formal input combined with practical exercises to apply the learning.
