Certificate in management consulting essentials (CMCE)
The Certificate in Management Consulting Essentials is awarded by the Institute of Business Consulting and represents a first qualification for those in management consultancy. It provides the opportunity for you to get public recognition of your skills as a management consultant, and provides a foundation for further development towards the status of Certified Management Consultant.
We are a registered centre for this award, approved by the Institute of Business Consulting . (The Institutes web site is at www.ibconsulting.org.uk). The basis of the award is the completion of a dissertation of around 3000 words demonstrating your knowledge and understanding of management consultancy. (Click here to see the syllabus covered). This is then assessed by an external assessor appointed by the Institute and - if successful - you will then be awarded the Certificate. This course contributes 40 CPD hours to IBC members.
Our core consultancy skills course @ £1,595+VAT per person covers this syllabus, so participants in the course can register for and take the Certificate if they so wish for an additional £600+VAT i.e. total cost of £2,195+VAT. The steps involved are:
- Book in for the course and register for the Certificate at the same time.
- Attend the course
- The dissertation would ideally be completed within four weeks of attending the course. We will provide coaching to help you with this
Although the Institute does not specify any formal prior learning for this qualification, we reserve the right to refuse registration for candidates we consider unready.
