Performance development programmes

Our team of consultants is well placed to support organisations that want to address issues in skills development.

We design and deliver skills development programmes using our ConSulT 4D skills development process. It consists of a sequence of four stages:

  1. Determine the performance development need
  2. Define the syllabus to be addressed through the training
  3. Design the training programme
  4. Deliver the programme

The last stage may include design review and modification to allow feedback from how the programme works in practice.

We work with in-house people who may have completed the early stages already. The examples below illustrate how we have worked with different clients starting at stages 1, 2 and 3.

Performance development need: An IT company wanted to increase the professionalism of its consultants. We helped them to refine what this meant, created a syllabus and designed and delivered a workshop for their consultants.
Syllabus definition: A global resources company wanted to improve the client handling skills of their engineers. We developed an engagement process model for them, and designed and delivered a training course to develop their personal skills.
Course design: An international consultancy wanted to increase the selling skills of their consultants. We designed and delivered courses for both entry level and experienced consultants.
